Such coverage makes available funds for medical care and rehabilitation of eligible employees and principals of companies who are injured on the job or contract a work-related illness. Workers’ compensation also covers some of an employee’s lost wages through disability benefits. It further provides death benefits for the dependents of employees killed in work-related incidents. Workers’ compensation typically covers all employees of a business except independent contractors. Special provisions need be made if employees work out-of-state or out of the country. Employers have a legal obligation to their employees to support safety in the workplace. Yet accidents happen even when every reasonable safety precaution has been taken. To shield employers from litigation resultant of workplace accidents, businesses throughout the state are required to have California workers compensation. This also serves to provide medical care and lost income compensation to employees injured in workplace accidents. California workers comp covers employees injured on the job, whether they’re hurt on workplace premises or elsewhere (as in auto accidents) while on business. Work-related illnesses are also covered. California workers comp (a.k.a California workers compensation or California workmans comp) is invaluable to the process of protecting California employees from harm and their employers from undue burden. It provides payments to injured workers for lost labor hours and for medical services, without regard for who was at fault in the accident. In grimmer circumstances, death ...

There are many different types of specialty business in California that have unique needs. Unusual risks physically and financially warrant individually crafted coverage. Electricians are a great example. Even when an electrician finishes a job, there is plenty more work to be done. The last wires may be tightened and the switch flipped, but the liability from that work goes on and on. Thus the need for a great California electrician insurance policy.
California electricians insurance maintains protection from any accidents that occur as an alleged result of work performed. In the trade, a California electrician insurance policy will continue to provide protection long after the job has been completed. Of course, the policy will need to cover the more general aspects of any business too: vehicle, worker's comp and disability. All of these features can be integrated into a California electrician insurance policy for less money than one might think. And though it may seem that a general liability policy cove ...

In today's litigious climate, a janitorial business could be vulnerable to great loss without janitorial insurance. Even if little or no error was committed on the part of the janitorial team, liability and litigation are buzzwords that could spell doom for any small business owner. A janitorial business is unique because the team works on someone else's property, bringing with it innumerable risks. Accidents unrelated to the presence of a janitorial crew can cause a great deal of trouble, and the time and legal fees for court alone can swallow a small operation's resources with no just cause. As such, covering special risks is essential. California janitorial insurance has coverage that can include...

One of the saddest situations we ever heard was a situation when one hard-working laundromat owner dutifully insured his washers, dryers and pressers. Sure enough, his establishment caught fire and the machines were ruined. The insurance company promptly paid to replace the machines. However, his establishment was ruined to the point where it was going to take some time to make the entire operation ready to be open for business again.
